Samsung Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K TVs Launched in India: Price, Specifications & More
South Korean tech giant Samsung on Thursday announced the launch of its high-end 2023 Neo QLED 8K TVs and Neo QLED 4K TVs in India. Samsung Neo QLED 8K TVs are available in sizes from 65 to 98 inches. On the other hand, Neo QLED 4K TVs are available in 50-85 inch sizes.
Price and availability:
The Samsung Neo QLED 8K TVs are available at a starting price of Rs 314,990 and the price of the Neo QLED 4K series starts at Rs 141,990. These TVs are available at all Samsung retail stores, leading consumer electronics stores and all online platforms, including Samsung’s official online store, Samsung Shop.
According to the company, consumers who purchase Neo QLED TVs till May 25, 2023 can get a free Samsung Soundbar HW-Q990 worth Rs 99,990 on select Neo QLED 8K TVs and Samsung Soundbar HW-Q800 worth Rs 44,990 on Neo QLED 4K – on televisions.

Technical information:
The 8K Neo QLED TV series features a Mini-LED backlit panel that offers up to 4,000 nits of peak brightness. The TV Neural Quantum processor enables 14-bit processing, 8K AI enhancement and Shape Adaptive Light algorithms. The TV’s HDR Remastering feature can convert SDR content to HDR, improving picture brightness, color and dynamic range.
Samsung’s latest Neo QLED TV has Q Symphony 3.0, which allows both TV and soundbar speakers to work together at the same time. The televisions also have the world’s first wireless Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound Pro, which produces sound that follows the action from all angles of the television.
The Neo QLED 8K and 4K TV series can display up to 2,030 Pantone colors and more than 100 skin tones. In addition, the new Samsung Neo QLED TV series is equipped with a built-in IoT hub with Calm Onboarding feature and IoT-compatible sensors for light, sound and more.
These latest TVs feature Infinity Screen and Infinity One Design with 8K resolution. Samsung Neo QLED TVs also have Smart Hub. Powered by Tizen OS, the entertainment center offers access to Samsung TV Plus, the company’s free ad-supported TV and video-on-demand service that offers 100 channels in India.
In addition to Samsung’s own virtual assistant Bixby, Neo QLED TVs also have built-in Alexa. Using Alexa’s voice commands, customers can search for content, browse channels, play music and navigate in the past. Customers can press the microphone button on the remote control and just say “Alexa, search for movies”, “Alexa, volume up/down” and more to enjoy a comfortable viewing experience.
It has a Multi-View feature that allows users to watch content from four different sources simultaneously. The Samsung SlimFit Cam also allows users to easily turn their Neo QLED TV into a video calling function using Google Meet.
